In March 2012, as usual practice, the
CCP had NPC and CPPCC. In order to make sure the successful NPC and
CPPCC, the authority of CCP had large scale suppression on people.
During the congress, the CCP used all Beijing police and paid several
hundred thousands to people who got paid to go on street to deal with
people in order to maintain the social stability.
In the afternoon on 13th,
the Common President of DPC Wang Juntao led members to strongly
protest the NPC and CPPCC held by the CCP in front of the Chinese
General Consulate in New York.
President Wang Juntao said the so
called NPC and CPPCC actually represented the officials in all levels
and rich people in China. They don’t know the need of poor people,
but only care about their own benefits. That is why officials yawned
and slept at NPC and CPPCC. They cannot represent China and need to
hand the power back to people so that every Chinese citizen can
master the fate of his/her hand. President Wang Juntao led members
to chant slogans. The loud and clear slogans were surging and
resounding in the air on 42nd Street.
Then, members also talked about their
own views to criticize the medical, retirement, education, housing,
corruption, property protection managed by the CCP. All members of
DPC think a Chinese has responsibility to fight for democracy.
