Department of the U.S. Committee of DPC
China's
Vice President Xi Jinping, as a manner of successor, arrived in the
United States on February 12th
to meet the U.S. President Obama for summit. The DPC deemed that we
should remind the international society, especially the U.S.
government and President Obama to clearly see the nature of the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP). We request the authority to release
all political criminals include Zhu Yufu. We also should remind the
international society that the authority of CCP represents neither
China nor Chinese people. Xi Jinping is not the state leader elected
by people, but appointed by the elders at the top levels. We need to
criticize and change the situation. Therefore, the Committee in the
U.S. organized the protest march to go to Washington DC to tell Xi
Jinping, the American government and the international society our
voice.
At
7:00 am, our marchers arrived at Marriott Hotel on Woodley Ave. When
the U.S. Vice President had breakfast with Xi Jinping in this hotel,
we started the first round of protest.
Party members showed the
banners and loudly chanted slogans while walking around the hotel.
The DPC members came to Washington DC to sound the voice of the wish
of Chinese people and tell the words that people in China were unable
to tell. We need to let Xi Jinping and the CCP to face the Chinese
people. We need to let Xi Jinping to see this scene and let him
understand the real freedom and democracy in the United States.
At
9:00 am, we arrived at White House to have the second round protest.
Other protest marchers met together at the avenue and stood in one
line. We loudly chanted the protest slogans.
Secretary-General Fu
Shenqi led us, party members, to continue loudly calling the slogans,
"Democracy must be successful! Tyranny must be ended! Release
Liu Xianbin! Release Zhu Yufu! Release Wang Bingzhang, Release all
democrats! Clear corruption! Against special rights! Freedom Party!
Freedom Speech! CCP doesn't represent people! CCP doesn't represent
China! China belongs to people! Freedom Newspaper! Freedom
Internet! Return politic to people! End One-party Autocracy! Build
constitutional government and democracy!"
Marchers
were approaching to the metal fence of White house and started rally
there. President of New York District of DPC, Zhang Jian, chaired
the rally. Secretary-General Fu Shenqi firstly spoke at the rally.
He said," Xi jinping, as a manner of successor to visit the U.S.
How can he become the top leader in China? That's because China is
ruled by one party. Xi jinping is appointed by the minor elders at
the top level. Therefore, we said, the CCP doesn't represent people!
The CCP doesn't represent China!"
Today,
people mostly think that the Islam countries cannot realize the
democracy. However, they walked to the democracy gradually after the
Jasmine movement. We are also walking to the democracy now.
Recently, democracy in Wukan Village proves the world that Chinese
people who are fooled by the CCP for more than sixty years have the
quality to live democracy. Therefore, end the one-party autocracy,
return politic to people and build the constitutional democratic
system are the right direction in China.
Then,
Zhang Jian, on behalf of President of DPC Song Shuyuan, made a
speech, " I represent the DPC of the Committee in the U.S. to
strongly express to Xi Jinping, on behalf of the Chinese government,
for several political requests: 1. The Chinese government must
positively view the value of the whole world. The Chinese people
have the right to decide their state fate, have the right to enjoy
the political freedom, have the right to elect their political
leaders and practice all other people's rights; 2. Strongly request
to release all political criminals; freedom the speech, newspaper,
party and the army cannot be belonged to the party; 3. Resolve the
severe problem of corruption, must separate rights on the foundation
of the political system, not ‘harmony’ under the one party; 4. If
people are persecuted badly, they have the rights to decide all
methods to turn over the current autocracy."
Then
Zhang Jian represented the Committee in New York, U.S. said, "
We have the responsibility to build a democratic and free China. The
task of DPC is to end the CCP's one-party autocracy and to realize
the constitutional democracy. For these goals, we participate in the
Jasmine movement. Today is the first year of 52 weeks Jasmine
movement. We, members of DPC, tell the words that people in China
are unable to tell at the New York Times Square. Every weekend at
New York Time Square has become a stage of propaganda freedom and
democracy. As of today, the Committee of DPC is the only democratic
organization to keep working.
Assistant
of President of Committee, Xu Ming, said,
“We stand on the land of
the United State to fully enjoy the freedom right and freedom. But
many of our hometown people lost their freedom of religion, speech
and faith, etc. I, as a Christian, on behalf of those religious
people who were severely persecuted in China. I shouted loudly from
my heart, give me back the religious freedom!" The famous
dissident writer, Mr. Yu Jie, just happened to be here. He was
touched when he saw our protest march. He made a short speech at the
rally,
“I sincerely hope that one day, I will go back to China. I
will stand at the Tiananmen Square to talk to people who look forward
for freedom. Chinese people can stand up to fully enjoy the freedom
of the same as the American people!"
Next,
Mr. Zhang Dajun led us to sing the song of famous human right
movement, <<We should not be moved>>. Party members sang
very loudly with the hope of thoughts of the human rights can be
rooted and blossomed in China. Officer Director Zhang Yuhong also
led us to sing the must-sing song in every Jasmine Movement, <<Such
a Beautiful Jasmine>>. At the end of the rally, the marchers
walked to the cross road between Pennsylvania Ave and First Ave where
Xi Jinping would pass by after leaving from White House. We waited
to see Xi Jinping's car so that he can hear our protest voices.
People who welcome Xi Jinping again showed up on the cross road.
Only a few of them stood up with a flag on hand. They were in low
spirits and not even chanted the slogans. Our party members Sun
Xuming, Peng Yongyan, Tao Hongbo, Li Wen, Wu Guisen, Sun Yue and Liu
Zengyun, etc. took turns to lead chanting our slogans powerfully and
dynamically.
Fu
Shenqi made a speech at the end of the protest march. Party members
returned to New York joyously. The democratic protest march was
reported by many international major mass media. Many American
