Jasmine Rally by Democracy Party of China (DPC)

The
U.S. Committee of DPC
It was a cool weather at night on
March 31, 2012 in New York. Crowed tourists jostled one another at
New York Time Square.
At 9:00 pm, members of DPC gathered at the
vacant area of Times Square, between 7th Ave and 46th
Street. The mission of the activity is to reveal the tyranny of the
government of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and support Chinese
people to fight for democracy. At the same time, the activity
reveals a real China to the Western people.
The Common President of DPC, Wang
Juntao, chaired the rally. He firstly reported the political
situation in China in the recent week. President Wang said the
reason of Bo Xilai’s downfall was still not clear. From the recent
happened events, Bo Xilai’s downfall showed the gap of CCP even
though the CCP seemed united.
The Office Director Zhang Yuhong led
to sing the Jiangsu folk song, <<Such a Beautiful Jasmine>>.
This folk song has been prohibited from playing in China because the
CCP considers this song would be a symbol of people overthrow the
authority of CCP. Party member, Duan Qiuming, spoke at the speech,
telling the Chinese Secretary of Municipal Committee of Chongqing
City, Bo Xilai’s removal from position doesn’t mean the political
reformation will begin because the issues related to reform the
politic are too many to be resolved. Another member of DPC Mr. Rong
expressed his view that why so many Chinese people chose to leave
their home country to other countries in the world. The answer can
be found from the expense of the government of CCP. An expense of
the government of CCP, so called defending social stability, means to
suppress people, is larger than the expense of national defense of
CCP in the continued years. We can see that the CCP is a reactionary
government that considers people as enemies and keeps fighting people
in the country.
Participators in this rally include
Wang Juntao, Zhang Yuhong, Duan Qiuming, Yang Ming, Fan Fentao, Li
Wen, Liu Zengyun, Gen Xifu, He Jianwen, Yu Zhenming, Wu Honghua,
Pengy Yongyan, Sun Jin, Sun Shuzi, Yin, Liyin, Jin Hua, Liu Dong,
Chen Yonghong, Wang Ruilong, Tao Hongbo, Qiu Shenghong and Sun Yu,
etc.
